Boogie Monsters/The Uproar - review

Searching for the perfect cover band? Look no further - The Uproar have you covered for every event to get the party started. From weddings to festivals and anything in between, this talented bunch can cater to whatever the occasion. The 5-piece is comprised of Kelly on the keys, Ben on guitar, Martin on bass, Cem on drums and Nina growling and grooving, smashing out the vocals, and all combining to bring some cracking hits to life in front of your eyes. Including tunes such as Tina Turner's 'The Best', 'Sweet Child 'O Mine', 'Venus', 'Toxic', 'Livin' On a Prayer', 'Don't Stop Believing' and more, classics are woven among the contemporary to build a set that is to everyone's liking. It's magic to see musicians at the top of their game, and their friendly, bubbly personalities give a humanistic approach to the artists that is impossible to resist.

Boogie Monsters is a multi-award-winning band, also founded by Kelly, to engage children and their families with live music, fostering enjoyment for all ages. Through a range of pop and rock tracks, the innovative concept has been fine-tuned over its 10 years of thriving to provide a gig atmosphere suitable to introduce little ones to a taste of the arts they otherwise may have had to wait for, as well as give the grown-ups some familiar tunes to get singing and dancing along too. Playing tracks like 'Baby Shark' and 'Nellie the Elephant' bring sparks of fun interaction; mixed among others such as 'Eye of the Tiger', 'Uptown Funk' and '500 Miles' to give an entertaining blend across the setlist, getting everyone involved - particularly with the 'Hokey Cokey'. The vibrancy of performance from each band member is reflected in the beaming smiles cascading across the audience, capturing memories to last a lifetime. Whether it may be bonding over bubbles or sharing a song that appeals to everyone, using the power of music to bring people together is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

Regardless of what they are playing, it is evident that their passion for performing runs deep in their veins. Appearing natural stars on stage, professionalism with hints of laughter, and a clear ability to work cohesively with their skills show how much they adore the job. Experienced and exceptional at their craft, there's simply no reason why you wouldn't want to have either (or both!) of The Uproar and Boogie Monsters to complete your ideal function.
